Massage Clinic

Gee qualified to practice Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy (ACMT) at the Jing Institute, UK. The Jing Institute is the most highly accredited massage school in the UK for Clinical Massage Therapy and Sports Massage. Specialising in the treatment of soft tissue, Gee is qualified to treat chronic pain conditions and common pathologies. The repertoire of manual therapy modalities that he is trained to use includes Amma, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, and Sports Stretching including Passive Stretching, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), and Active Isolated Stretching (AIS).

Gee is also a Romi Romi (Maori Bodywork) practitioner having completed a Te Rongopae training in New Zealand with Atarangi Muru, and Manu Korewha. Maori Bodywork is a Deep Tissue Healing Art that treats not only deepest blockages in the body but also in the mind. It is a holistic method that specialises in releasing pain and emotions from the tissues, and from deep layers of the body/mind.

Gee is also an experienced Qigong TuiNa practitioner. Gee attended his first week long TuiNa Bodywork course in 2001 with Mr Paul Cavel. The week long retreat taught by Paul Cavel was titled ‘Dragon & Tiger Qigong into TuiNa Bodywork’. This was the first time Gee had attended a week long intensive course on Bodywork and Etheric Field Work. Gee had learned TuiNa pulsing and twisting techniques previous to this TuiNa bodywork retreat – in weekend workshops with Paul, and in weekly classes with Derek Fulker – but this week in 2001 gave Gee an understanding of how to apply the material from Dragon & Tiger Qigong directly to TuiNa Bodywork to help another person release physical & energetic blockages using Deep Tissue Massage and Etheric Field Work. Gee continued to have instruction in Qigong TuiNa from Mr Cavel over the years, and has also increased his repertoire of TuiNa skills in numerous retreats and workshops with Taoist Lineage Master Bruce Frantzis.
